Van, aki a több mint húsz ingyenesen látogatható koncertet látja benne, ahol
támogatóinknak köszönhetően a hazai előadókon túl neves külföldi
produkciókat is szerencsénk van vendégül látni. Van, aki a workshopok miatt látogat el hozzánk, mert szeretne
hangszerén jobb lenni, és olyan zenészektől tanulni, akik a műfajban már letettek valamit az asztalra. Van, aki azért jön el, hogy napszaktól függetlenül örömzenélhessen másokkal az abaligeti tóparton, beszélgessen régen látott cimborákkal, új barátokat szerezzen. Van, akit a gyönyörű környezet hoz vissza évek óta a kis baranyai településre, és a non-profit szervezés miatt tudja, hogy nem lesz egy ezres a sör a zene mellé, valamint a szállás is megfizethető.
Akárhogy is, 2026-ban is itt a helyed, a Nemzetközi Bluegrass és Akusztikus Zenei Fesztiválon!

The festival is supported by the Municipality of Abaliget and the German Nationality Municipality, the Kapucinus Sörfőzde (brewery) from Magyarhertelend and Mr. Zoltán Vlasics from Vlasics és Társa Bt.! The food for our musicians will be provided this year again by one of the most outstanding students of Uncle Laci Pápai, Józsi Szűcs. Józsi works with his lovely wife again!

EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN REASONS FOR LOVING BLUEGRASS FESTIVALS.
Some love the idea of about 20 free concerts. Thanks to our supporters,
we’ll be able to host not only Hungarian performers, but excellent acts
from abroad as well.
Some folks come visit for the workshops, because they want to improve
their playing and learn from musicians who have made their mark in
bluegrass.
Some come for the chance to lay back and play with other musicians on the shores of Abaliget lake, chatting with old friends and making new friends.
And then there are some who have been coming to the festival for years for its village and natural environment. Given that the festival is run non-profit, you can be confident that there will be enough change in your pocket for a beer, and that accommodations will be affordable.
Whatever your reason, we look forward to seeing you at the 2026
International Bluegrass and Acoustic Music Festival!
